Louisville, as far as I know. No idea why they're being discussed here.

Our fans BETTER be worried about some of those numbers that were released in that report....

If you are not, then you are not thinking very wisely -

Especially on the sponsorships/royalties side of the equation

That is a report thats a year old. Worrying about things I can't change is not something I plan on doing. Sponsorships and Royalties are very important and this report shows a lag in both catagories. I have faith in the administration that they will do whatever they can to resolve the problem. As for my part, I will continue to donate to, attend and discuss Louisiana Tech.

All audit reports are a year old -

I have made the better part of my living by composing, reading and analyzing audit reports

And with the price of the barrel of oil below $55 and the NEWLY revised budget estimates set at level that is based on $69 - its only going to make matters that much more difficult

I'm not worried about USL's numbers - they are of no consequence to us since comparing the Ruston/Shreveport/Bossier DMA to Lafayette is like comparing apples to oranges - I only worry about Tech's and there have been too many unanswered questions lately regarding numbers that are being released without any substantial evidence to back-up them up

That audit is covering fiscal year 7-1-2013 thru 6-30-2014. A new fiscal year started 7-1-2014 but wont end until 6-30-15 after which it can then be reviewed but the state doesnt do that until later in the year.

At what point does fretting over it solve the issue at hand? I know what you do DFM. I can read audit reports too. We lost a lot of momentum coming off the 2012 season and through the 2014 season in football. We have a young Athletic Director trying to complete the promises of the previous administration. All Public institutions are gonna give only the information they are required by law to give. Let see how this next audit comes out before hitting the panic button. To be fair, we are always broke and have found a way to succeed. Finding Sponsorships should be a top priority for us and I am hopeful that our Administration sees that too.

Disagree - I think us Tech fans should be encouraged because we still are not proactive with a lot revenue sources concerning our athletic programs. ULL's improvement will put more pressure on us to match them.

We should also pickup some additional money once we get all of the CUSA $.

I don't follow your above statement: what opportunities have you guys been missing out on? You have a $$ amount associated with it, and a timeframe when y'all will become more proactive with it? Thanks.

Pimping. Their 13-13 sunbelt basketball team with a 220 RPI isn't going to do it so they have to find something else.

Naming rights for our stadiums and sky boxes in football stadium are a couple that come to mind off the top of my head.

We need to wear the uniforms of the highest bidder when we do our next uniform deal.

You won a home game early in the season against a team with only 4 returning players. Congrats. That 7-7 Sunbelt team wouldn't beat us today.
