At one time I would have thought that we would not be focused on the "task at hand". I think our guys are plenty focused and determined to make this a truly outstanding year...MSU has some great players but they are playing like they are part of a Chinese fire drill...(with an apology to Charlie Chan) and I think we will add to their misery.

Was that you and 5-Man I saw on tv yesterday cheering on the Rebels??? :D
No ma'am, I haven't really seen fit to expose my son to the really intensified games at Ole Miss yet, namely the big SEC matchups. I did make the mistake last season and took him to the Egg Bowl  ...big mistake. Both the Rebel fans and Dog fans seem to forget how to act sometimes at those games, and last season was no different. I regretted taking him about an hour into our tailgating....he learned more four letter words in that short span, than he has in his entire 5 years.
But I enjoy taking him to the LaMonroes and Arkansas States, etc. He has more room to run around and the crowds are much more PG rated. As he gets older, though, I plan on taking him every week.
So no, that was not 5man there yesterday, but he'll be there soon enough saying "Purple britches" and "Geaux to Hell LSU", etc....you know? The good things in life.
Oh, I know what you mean 10MAN. Back when I was taking my boy to the FSU games, we would always avoid going to the Florida game. Such language, even back in those days.

Year before last! Then they were 3-8!
yeah and believe it or not, that was a better 3-8 team right there than this year's edition is. I really don't see Ole Miss overlooking us, maybe looking in the rearview mirror as they leave Starkville after handing our ******es to us. One more game and my football hell is over for this season and Sherrill retires. I do hope it is at least a good game but I can see myself turning the tv to watch static at about the end of the 1st quarter. Here's hoping for a real good bowl for the Rebels this year, you guys deserve it.

I have to agree with EC on this one. I think it is quite possible our team will be morally deflated and I am praying we don't implode on Thursday.
I hope the SEC West is still enough on the minds of the Rebels that they'll go give them hell. Actually, for once this season, I'd like to see a game in which I didn't have to worry. I'd like to see us pound those pups into the ground. I'd like to see Spurlock start the second half because we're up 55-0! But, also, I'd like to see a raise and I'd like to see a Republican candidate for president challenge George W. Bush for the nomination. I'd like to see world peace and an end to holidays, especially that friggin' Christmas garbage. I'd like to the see the media not suck scum and I'd like to see the Hawgs beat the hell outta LSU!
But, there's alot of things I'd like to see!
