Things would have ended better if he was a Gold Medalist Olympic Swimmer.

Sometimes I feel like I'm not living in the nation where I was born.

Horrible, tragic nightmare of a situation.

Unfortunately, I predict we're going to see more situations like this in the years to come.

I don't see anything in the article that says the girlfriend's gender was a secret or a motive for the shooting.

^^^^
This... Actually the article makes it seem much more likely that the murder occurred because she was "breaking off" the relationship. Not that it makes it any better.

Unless you were born when (or before) I was (1947), you have no idea how badly (and in so many ways) America has deteriorated.

Every older generation says this about a younger generation. Every single one.

Why some people care so much about how others live their own lives is beyond me.

Ha! I remember when I was a kid being told our generation has no respect or manners, and have no idea what hard work is. Now as I get older I'm beginning to see people my age say the same thing about kids today.

So is it fair to say you own that problem more than a relatively younger guy like me?

Another article:

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaaf-dr-s...51466.html

Quote: “We have electronic evidence that they were texting back and forth, communicating that they were going to meet up,” Tyler Police Officer Don Martin said.

During the investigation, officers learned Champion was expecting sexual favors from Underwood that morning and found out she was transgender.

“It was probably more of dating relationship and it appeared to be a short duration, this isn't something that's been going on for a long time,” Martin said.

You should see the movie Blast From the Past starring Brendan Frasier. Look at society from the beginning of the movie and then the father's first interactions when he reaches the surface following what the family thought was a nuclear blast [hint: the interaction is related to the content of this thread].

IMHO, as long as anyone is upfront before anything physical happens, then that is fine. I can imagine many men may be upset/angry to find out after or during physical acts.
Not everyone likes surprises!

Other than that, work, pay taxes and don't break the law an I really don't care.
