Also, a tie between Denver & North Dakota in the consolation game works.

We are still playing them twice a year, and we are 4-0 against OSU since they left for the Big 6 out of 14 league.

BG misses out. But they return nearly everyone. And FWIW, there looked to be about 2,000 people at Joe Louis Arena.

RE: BG, Miami in top ten in hockey
Final Pairwise rankings for NCHC:
2 North Dakota
4 Miami
5 Denver
6 Minnesota Duluth
8 Nebraska Omaha
12 St. Cloud State
North Dakota and Miami will be #1 seeds, Denver, Duluth, and Omaha will be #2 seeds, St. Cloud #3
Unfortunately BG finished #16, which would get you the final spot, but #38 RIT won their conference tourney and the auto bid, knocking out BG. Miami had a very costly win. Blake Coleman, who had a hat trick scoring all 3 of our goals, got a 5 minute major and game disqualification. It was his third of the year, and the penalty for that is sitting out the first game of the NCAA tournament. Also, in the final minute, holding a one goal lead, Riley Barber suffered what looked to be a major knee injury, he is likely out for awhile. Thus we will start the NCAA without 2 of our 3 best players (IMO).

RE: BG, Miami in top ten in hockey
I hope that there's a way to appeal that call on Coleman, that was some of the worst officiating I've ever seen in any sport. Unfortunately, I don't think there's such a system in place to retroactively do so, hopefully Anderson never referees another NCHC game for the rest of his life.
I don't think we can win it all without Barber. He was able to get on the ice after the game, so hopefully he's alright. For the sake of our team, I hope the NCAA ships MSU-Mankato out east and has us play in South Bend instead of Providence/New Hampshire in the backyard of Hockey East teams.

Miami gets Providence in Providence. Screw you selection committee, we would've been better off losing to WMU a week ago.
