Dude has written and produced a ton of albums and explored a lot of genres. Some of his lyrics and albums have a Zapa-esque humor to them. He's one of those guys who will be appreciated more after he's long gone.

You like him now. I like him now. But he's an emoting genius who is till tapped into life.

I 'worry' a little about those kinds of folks, especially the comedians and musicians.

No doubt it's just a selfish worry on my part. I like them to stick around.

A friend of mine's uncle tried out for the RHCP way back in the day, they told him he was a great guitar player but he was not "cosmic" enough. I think they ended up hiring the guy from P-Funk and then fired him shortly thereafter and that was when John Frusciante ended up joing the band for the first time.
