I'm surprised at the yardage Owens had while at Toledo. In the 2 quarterback system, he didn't play nearly enough downs to rank higher, but he still average over 2,000 yards a season considered over the 4 seasons he was eligible.

Good point. I wonder how many of his passes were for 20+, 30+ and 40+ yards. I am not aware of these stats existing but I would not be surprised to see TO atop the UT record books in these categories.

Story said he was ranked 2nd at UT in yardage and TD's. Not sure that is correct. Could be if he had over 8,000 yards in his career. I doubt there are very many passing yardage records left anywhere that are older than around 2000.
