I don't see that. I see us regressing. No offense to ecu but we should not have had a double digit loss. Even the seniors are questioning him

Seniors? How many seniors, Kasey Wilson and the rest of the seniors?

I won't go into detail because I know several of the guys on the team. They are frustrated by the lack of ball movement

To be fair, the players are dictating ball movement, not Donnie. Now if you want to say that Donnie's offense doesn't create opportunities for ball movement, i'd agree a bit, but player effort dictates ball movement, imo.

I think it's more of lack of direction in the front court and set plays

LOL! Really?

Maybe if they stopped turning the ball over all the time...the "ball movement" would improve?

When McBride is working his tail off to get open underneath yet the guards refuse to pass him the ball, is that really the coach's fault?

Adonys is realizing, while a promising freshmen, you can't just jog around the offensive side of the court and get open...as he has to learn to come hard off ALL picks...something which I think he can easily improve on (and has done a few time in games...but thats the rarity).

Most diehard UCF Hoop fans understand that the team has been decimated by NCAA Scholarship Sanctions...and then the untimely season ending injury to Matt Williams...so for most games this year, UCF has had just 8 or 9 scholarship players...with the best 2 being true Freshmen.

Next year will be the first time in 4 seasons that UCF will have 13 scholarship players...and as of now, the recruiting class on paper (along with Univ of Tenn transfer AJ Davis), appears to be the best ever depth wise for UCF.

Those that follow AAC Hoops had UCF picked 9th this year in preseason polls.

UCF is now 9th in AAC standings.

Everyone (that follows UCF) knew this was going to be a tough season...maybe everybody but you.

At times throughout the season UCF looked decent, but a lack of depth wears players down as the season goes on. Can't blame the coach for that.

The Knights have a young team. I think this thread is unwarranted. Give those freshmen a year and your big man a chance to get into game shape and UCF will be a ton better. Take a chill pill.

DJ is not a victem of NCAA Scholarship Sanctions. He earned the sanctions. It is his fault. He should be let go at the end of the season.

Hey we all knew it was going to be tough but not 6 double digit losses and unlike most I go to the games. In fact I support the school by sending my kid to the camps etc. Again look at who we are losing to and by how much. I have been supportive up until this weekend. Yes it is partly the coaches fault. If nobody is driving the lane or defending the arc that is coaching. Again we don't have time to be uncompetitive. Good recruiter but he isn't getting it done. Know your role

RE: Done With Donnie
ECU has 7 double digit losses...I think many fans forget though about how hard it is to win on the road. 6 of those losses were on the road for ECU, 1 at a neutral site.

For some reason, many fans look at just the opponent on the schedule and chalk up "w's" without taking into account where the game is played. In basketball especially its a huge factor in determining who wins and how competitive the game will be. ECU was leading UConn by 7 at the half on the road the other night and end up with a double digit loss.

I would judge your coach first on how he is doing at home, particularly in close games.

That being said, UCF basketball tried to cheat and got caught. Karma's a *****.

1) can't afford a buyout
2) he did win with a full roster. So let's see what happens next season before we lose our minds.

Prior attendance was really increased having a nba legend a clothing mogul in the crowd along with having his 2 sons on the team. So i wouldn't call future sellouts to be as easy as it was in the past. Donnie has recruited well and at least deserves a few more years as this talent gets experience. Not happy either about a near 20 point loss to ecu for the record.
