Way to hang tough after coughing up the huge lead. Unbelievable gutty performance at the end by both Gearhart and Perra.
HUGE win for the program!
Jackson, Drone and Guercy need to figure out and solve their recent 2nd half woes. Bailed out by a career game by Seth.

RE: Rice at WKU Gamethread
I have to say it: THAT is how you make a Statement win. Against the Conference leader, in the first season of a new coach, not showing fear and not backing down. Coming off a brutal road loss!
BABY!! Who says Coaching can't make a difference? Rhodes takes a depleted squad and shows promise. Still a long way for him to go, but he shows it can be done.
Earlier in an interview, Rhodes had said he didn't want Seth to wait forever until his first 30 point game--he knew he had it in him! Coach Rhoades was correct. Tonight, Seth Gearhart led all scorers on both teams with 31points!!!! Way to Go and be Aggressive, Seth!!
Great Team win Owls!!!!

Looking forward to catching 3 of the final four home games while I'm in town (assuming the UT and Stanford doubleheaders don't run overtime).

Wow. Owls managed to win despite some long 2nd half scoring droughts. I wonder when the last time Rice won a basketball game when they were 13.5+ point underdogs.

I finally located the game on FCS and watched the last 10 minutes. What an incredible effort by our Owls! It was great hearing the WKU announcers wither in the last two minutes.
Very much looking forward to seeing our guys in person next Saturday at Tudor.
