Race to the top
UNCW, W&M and Northeastern each with a 2 game separation from the pack and tied for 1st. place. Here's what their remaining schedules look like:
Northeastern: 3 home/4 away(3 left against top 5/ 2 away, 1 home)
#8 Delaware at home
#4Hofstra away
#1UNCW away
#1William and Mary home
#5Drexel home
#9Elon away
#10CoC away
W&M: 4 home/3 away(3 left against top 5/3 away, 0 home)
#1 UNCW away
#9 Elon home
#8 Delaware home
#1 Northeastern away
#4 Hofstra away
#7 Towson home
#5 Drexel home
UNCW: 4 home/3 away(3 left against top 5/0 away, 3 home)
#1 W&M home
#10 CoC home
#1 Northeastern home
#8 Delaware away
#7 Towson away
#4 JMU home
#9 Elon away
Using the schedule, and assuming home games are better than away, UNCW and W&M have the advantage.
But, when you look at the games left against the top 5, UNCW has a decided advantage with all our top 5 games at home and W&M has the biggest disadvantage, with all their top 5 games away.
Also, the question is whether JMU or Hofstra is the better team, because NU and W&M still have games against Hofstra left, and UNCW is done with Hofstra. Meanwhile, UNCW still has a home game against JMU left, while both NU and W&M are done with JMU.
We're also done with Drexel, while W&M and NU still have one game left with them.
NU is done with Towson, while UNCW and W&M still have one left.
I know anyone can beat anyone in the CAA, but it certainly appears UNCW has the easiest path left to the CAA regular season title.

RE: Race to the top
All three of the top teams have some sizeable rocks and bumps along their respective paths. Plus I think that whichever team finishes on top, it will need a little help along the way. Regardless, it will be an interesting next couple of weeks.
