MyBB Basketball 2016 (and possibly 2015) targets?
Memphis has one open scholarship for 2015 now (with KI going BOH) and at least four scholarships open for 2016, who is Memphis in on?

I know the Marshall kid from Kentucky is a commit, but who else is Memphis in on in the 2016 class?

I assume the open spot in 2015 will be held for a transfer.

Ya got:

Kedren

Hawkins
Woodson
King
Nichols
Shaq

That's nine.

Plus
Lawsons (2)
Broddie

That makes 12.

Ah...folks like to bully in the recruiting forum as well.

And bash the coach.

Have at it chomper.

Sigh, used to be a great site to discuss Tiger athletics.

I thought we were mad that he was playing too many players? No defined roles, too many substitutions, etc.

No we were mad when he jerked guys out less than 2 minute into the game for missing an open jumper. Now he's got Markel playing out of position .... Again to shorten the rotation. From one extreme to the other. What's wrong with subbing after 5 minutes because players are fatigued running up and down the floor? It worked for Dean Smith and many other coaches.

I did prefer when Coach X's teams got to the point that they basically subbed themselves out. Of course that came from junior / senior led teams. I do think that Coach P should give us the individual things he's looking for from each player - let us in a little to why players get subbed in and out. I'm fine with yanking a player quickly if that player has one thing that absolutely must (or must not) do. But let us know those things too.

I don't think he would be able to explain it.

If there is no captain that knows how to defend and distribute the ball...the team will go nowhere next year...

OUR GAPS ARE ON THE PERIMETER....find a stud who can handle and defend the guard position and hit the open man...and make proper post passes...He will average 20 assist next year.

I'll take my chances with Kedren and Pookie next season if, and that's a big IF, somehow, someway we can get a well-rounded 2 guard (shooter/slasher/speed/athletic) in here via recruiting or transfer. I realize they do not grow on trees and I just don't see Markel being that player. Maybe he is.

I wish we could get back in on KeVaughn Allen from Little Rock since he has not signed an LOI with Florida.

Hawkins a head scratcher from the start. Shows how desperate u are to recruit a player like that. We cannot compete with signing four and five jucos a year. Trashon is ok but Cunningham and Hawkins not so much. I do think the Lawsons will be great players though just need a pg. Not really in on any that will make a difference. Maybe KJ can run the point for us. He has the skills to b better than anyone we got currently.

Yep

If we could have gotten the Hickey kid from LSU that went to Oklahoma State, this would be a different team.

If Kedren had been anything close to what he was at Vandy, this would be a different team.

Dom Artis & Rasheed Sulaimon are out there, try again next year. There will be others too. BUT, we have to get a plug & play PG or hope Kedren gets his big butt in shape.
