If anyone has an extra ticket for this "sold out" event please contact me, my fiancee had a work trip cancelled and wants go with. Alumni Association says they are already at capacity so they can't issue any more due to event space (I'm guessing this is a fire code issue).

On the bright side, there are 700 people that RSVP'ed for the event, so many they had to move to what I understand is the practice gym. Looking forward to this, hopefully gets some $$$ going for the Athletic Program and maybe a new tradition for Huskie Basketball!

When I renewed my Alumni Association membership last week, I tried to get tickets and they told me they had sold out at 600 tickets. However, I still wanted to go with my daughter to the games so I just purchased tickets to both games. Obviously - it was not expensive. Should be some nice quality time with the family and hopefully we will see two wins. Next year I will register as soon as I receive the e-mail.

Of course - if anyone has 2 extra tickets - please PM me. I would still love to be part of the Alumni Association atmosphere and food :)

Just dress up in a NIU polo shirt, play the Huskie fight tune while eating a couple hotdogs and eating chips, and you can pretend you're at the Alumni event.

I think I might skip some of the convo food and instead introduce my daughter to the Dekalb delicacy that is otherwise know as Tom & Jerry's gyros.

Fattys is always great before Huskie game. Each Saturday game has been getting more people there for pregame.

This is like the HASF kickoff in 2011...not even close to enough tables set up in VE court.

Other than the space issue everything else is great.

Expecting a big crowd for the game?

It seemed like a good crowd to me. My girls melted down just before the guys game started but we enjoyed the atmosphere up until then.

The last 4min of play of the ladies game was good (fan participation) and the last 1:30 it was outstanding.

The alum association is definitely going to do this next year and there is no plan on charging next year.

They could not use the full VE Court because it was a double header and the men's teams needed to shoot around on the other half.
