Falcons @ Huskies predictions
First off , 7, we know your prediction and I hope NIU's defense holds BG to 17 points, but please post your realistic predictions. Season will be hard to salvage at this point, but NIU has to at least run the table at home to have any chance of doing it. BG just came off a huge win vs CMU and is tied for the best record in the MAC right now. Massy says BG should be 5 point road favorites Saturday, with an exactly 1 in 3 chance of an NIU victory. I will go out on a limb and say NIU pulls a shocker.

NIU 71
BGSU 66

RE: Falcons @ Huskies predictions
Bowling Green is a lot like NIU....low scoring, good rebounding, bad shooting....so I can't figure out why their record is so much better. (Actually, I think it's the guard play. But I don't get to see the Falcons, so that's a guess.)

Ha, the MAC is such a logjam of mediocrity. It's a FOUR WAY TIE (record-wise) atop the MAC East. The Falcons are in that four way tie.

Doesn't feel like a win, sadly.

BG has a very good shooting guard, Zach Denny, and he started the final run in the first game. We were up 39-37 and he hit 2 or 3 three's and we couldn't finish. Game was back and forth. Holmes is their big shot blocker but we lost a lot of rebounds because either we couldn't keep a handle on them or BG knocked them out of the kids hands. First game could have gone either way. We didn't answer their last run and of course Baker couldn't shoot at all that game.

This definitely seems to be a broken record this season, if Baker shoots well (50% in all NIU wins), NIU does well, if Baker shoots poorly (15% in all NIU losses), then NIU is in big trouble.

I hope you are right about the attendance but I think we lost a good chunk of fans with the loss vs Miami-OH

Hope we can get 2,000 plus. I head they have a bus going around picking up students? Plus it is homecoming. Just wish this team was above .500. Might of had 4,000

I agree, this year was a missed opportunity, a big time missed opportunity.

That's why it sucks that NIU has to rely on him.

Pretty cool, that stat I have been referencing the past few games made it into the BG games notes on page 4. Looks like the department does check out these boards!

Great game on ESPN3 between two MAC powerhouses in CMU and WMU. CMU appears to have a sellout for the game.

I hope the MAC pays you or at least gives you a meal stipend or something. Maybe some MAC swag?

I thought of a bad joke! We could call you MACDawgz!
