And only 5''8" to boot....glad Tre didn't get wasted on the Skins....better off at Denver or NE.

I'm guessing if Tre played at UVA instead of W&M he would've been drafted by now. He is going to be a steal for some team, that's for sure.

Kiper top 25 at the start of Day 3

Insider link, but Tre started at #17, next to Hardy and ahead of Crowder from Duke.

Tre and the NFL Draft
Anyone know how many wrs have been taken so far? In my uneducated view it seems like Tre has fallen quite a bit. I didn't know all these other wrs had as much hype as Tre.

RE: Tre and the NFL Draft
At this point, end of 5th round, would it be better for him to go free agent so he can more easily pick his team (I know both sides have to agree)? From a fans perspective, it's frustrating but it may be better for him especially if pay is not a big difference from now on which is what I don't know.

Wonder what the scouts saw that the TV evaluators didn't?

Guessing it is lack of competition against top-tier corners.

Tre and the NFL Draft
Keith Mumphrey, the last WR taken by the Texans just now, was the other player who visited with Tre at Denver last month. At the time, McBride was considered a 3-4 round and Mumphrey a late round to premium free agent. He was a part time starter for Mich St averaged 29 catches a year.

RE: Tre and the NFL Draft
I have to think that another factor is how Tre's film looks. Very, very rarely - except for a brief time when Raphael Ortiz started a few games in 2012 - did Tre have the opportunity to actually run under a ball, or separate from a cornerback. It is hard to show separation when you know your quarterback can't get you the ball in stride. Another factor may have been the routes he was asked to run within our offense.

At this point, I hope Tre is Mr. Irrelevant and wins whatever the prize is for being drafted last

ESPN didn't even bother to rank or rate Evan Spencer (Redskins). Man, what's the scoop?

RE: Tre and the NFL Draft
Looking like Tre is going to have to take the Grimes route and play his way onto a roster/practice squad
