247Sports Director of Scouting Barton Simmons broke down the best quarterbacks in the class of 2015. And while there are certainly a myriad of players ranked ahead of Memphis commit Brady Davis, Simmons believes he is the best mid-major QB in the 2015 class.

"This Memphis commit out of Starkville (Miss.) High School is going to put up huge numbers for Justin Fuente and people are going to wonder how he slipped to the AAC," Simmons said. "We’re already wondering that."

Well we have an honorable mention All-American who threw for 4000+ yards both his junior and senior year in Will Hefley and a 4* QB who was ranked in the rivals top 250. I'll say Tulsa did pretty good recruiting QB's this year.

AAC isn't mid-major, so it's incorrect.

Kurt Benkert, will have them saying the same.

Please dont degrade yourself by calling the conference mid-major...thats a HUGE slap in the face to the other 11 schools...the other conferences may say that about AAC as a dig, but my God, lets not do it to ourselves...we're all Div-1, right?...I'm so sick of this phony "P5", "G5" garbage...we're letting espn label and degrade us....I refuse to do that

You are correct. At the beginning of each season, Ohio State = Cincinnati = Miami = Dayton since we are all Div-1.

We are excited to see Davis after Lynch leaves. It isn't a done deal though because Clay Holgorsen from Katy, Texas is pretty good himself. Memphis has good QB situation at the moment.
