I love the player cards. Just another example of JMU stepping up the social media/graphics campaign.
21 LOI before 9am. They are saying it is impressive on Twitter. That seems impressive to me but I have nothing to base that on.
Corey Owen was introduced as "Offensive Threat" where other true WRs were introduced as such. I'm guessing that means he is going to start off summer camp under center.
Tyler Gray, #23 National Kicker, going to JMU as a walk-on seems like a steal

I was wondering about Gray. I didn't realize he was walking on. That is a steal.

The one thing I like most about Withers is that a lot of these guys will play as freshmen. All that redshirting freshmen is b.s. If you are good enough to contribute, then play. Save the redshirt for the inevitable injury season.

Generally if you commit to a FCS school early and there are no coaching changes or FBS offers coming late then thats is where you want to be. I like the CB from NJ and the Safety from MD. The WR from GA is going to have to work on his routes and agilty. My friend from NN said Holloway is the real deal, and could be a starter if he learns quickly. Lineman you just have to wait and see , I've always liked athletic lineman.

He redshirted a good amount of freshman last year. I dont think we should play sharp this year unless injury or Favoritism play a part. Last summer in practice , Moreland was clearly ready and peake showed enough.

FBS transfers usually don't come until after Spring practice. Vad coming in last Jan is not the normal transfer pattern.

I agree that some might be added and I don't know the historic pre/post spring ball breakdown (1/4 last year) but for comparison North Dakota has signed 2 FBS transfers, Illinois State and Coastal Carolina have both signed 4.

The CB from NJ should be ready to play as he faced a national schedule in HS and played against top notch talent for the most part. His HC in HS just became the head recruiting coordinator for Harbaugh at Michigan.

RE: national signing day 2015
Looks like a great signing class. The big linemen seem impressive and there could be a few starters in there. Same thing for the wideouts. Lot's of size for Vad Lee to throw to and lots of competition for starting spots. This could be the "best signing class ever"!!

I say every year on signing day how excited I am and how I see an upgrade in recruits. I know everyone looks good on tape, but I am impressed again. More size across the board it seems. Kirk Robinnette is already one of my favorite JMU players and he has not seen the field yet. There is something about that kid and the way he plays. Anyone else get the same vibe?

yea, looks great on tape.

Played a small district, and against a lot of running teams where he could blitz a ton. But has the size and quick first step you want in an LB.

What happened to Tyler Thrasher-Walker ? I thought he enrolled in Jan? Not on the updated roster which includes today's signees and also Quan Welch who enrolled Jan.

http://www.jmusports.com/roster.aspx?path=football list of returning players, plus those signed today.

Add in Tristan Carter, Marquis Culver and Tyler Gray and we are at 90, Tyler Thrasher-Walker would make 91 but I can't see anything recent on him?

Heritage has had some studs come through there. Looked like he knew how to hit from some of those plays on the video link. Is he projected to play LB for us?

I am seeing it cleanly on wireless connection and on Google Chrome. Not sure what the issue is for you but several I know are having no issues at all and it is smooth.
