I read the hard copy this morning. Did he rip them a new a**hole or what? T.C. , my man! Devastating editorial! The student publication department at Georgia State University has taken an interest in the UAB situation, and I've mailed their sports editor hard copies of the last 3 K Scope editions. They have really flexed their muscles lately, very proud of the Office Of Student Media at UAB. Just last week, they had an excerpt of an editorial they'd written about the UAB scandal on WABM-68's "The Zone"....Kevin Scarbinsky jokingly stated that if they keep writing articles like that about the board of *****ees, they were going to take a run at the school's newspaper.

I've known the name TC Cannon for years as a ardent UAB supporter. I knew who he was, but had never met him. Last month at my Dad's funeral, I was introduced to him as Terry Cannon. Turned out he and my Dad were friends many years ago and used to race together locally. I had heard my Dad talk about Terry Cannon over the years but had never put the two names together that he was the UAB fan, TC Cannon. He was there to honor my father at the funeral which I greatly appreciated. He was also decked out in UAB gear, which I also appreciated.

That's a really nice story, and I appreciate you sharing it with us. I'm sorry you recently lost your father.

I think I saw TC at the Clay Council Meeting for the resolution.

Yes, UA BOT Trustees I believe your good names are definitely under attack; are you just going to sit with your thumb up your butt and do nothing?

Of course if you sue TC there are great number of us who would pay for his legal defense. His lawyers would be entitled to discovery, pretrial depositions of all potential witness, and of course you yourself would probably have to take the stand, testify under oath, and be subject to perjury penalties should they apply.

Oh yes, UA BOT Trustees, I don't think you should stand for having your good names drug through the mud - you ought to sue. And you ought to sue Jack Williams while you are at it. It would cost me some money, but it would be fun to watch.
