Huskiewire, PrideInThePack, NIU Athletics. There are typically various ones providing updates throughout the day.

all I know is we have one more day. hopefully no big defections. I always love the few players who sign that have never been mentioned before signing day.

Also might help to keep in mind that it's likely around 25% of this year's class won't end up doing much of consequence in their time at NIU and will likely leave the program at some point. A bit harsh, I know, and it dampens the mood going into tomorrow, but it's reality.

+1.....Some find out they are not s good as they believed , others learn they dont love football as much as other interests, some misshome, some have kids and get jobs or married. Life changes and changes fast and it is not easy trying to earn playing time on a D1 team with high objectives.

THOSE THAT STAY WILL BE CHAMPIONS!

I expect to see the 2015 Huskie defense, in particular, to be much improved, as they were young last year, and should get better with experience. However, to really get a top-notch defense in 2015, the Huskies will need to find some freshmen who will start and excel.

And that will probably not happen. It's very rare, even for a P5 program, to find true freshmen who can walk onto the field day 1 and dominate.

NIU's 2-deep on defense, which will obviously change due to injury prior to the season, is almost set based on last year's team. Only defensive players of real consequence NIU lost after last season are Meehan, Durante, and Santa. Everybody else is back, including players like Mycial Allen who missed all of last season due to injury.

It seems that they will have a live chat on the main NIU site.
