Predictions for our record this year
Anybody think we stay above five hundred? We got some tough conference games left. I think we prob finish one or two games above five hundred. I'm not sure if that gets us into the NIT. We may get there on brand alone or atleast what's left of our brand.

RE: Predictions for our record this year
I said 18-13. We need to go 5-5 to get that. We got the talent imo to win 7-8 more though. Id say 21-10 best case scenario in the regular season

Who were the clowns claiming Memphis DID NOT have to win the AAC tourney to make the NCAA about a month ago?
Anyway, 19-12 regular.
1-1 in AAC.
1-1 in NIT.
21-14 overall.

They are too embarrassed to show their faces around here anymore haha. I think that is generous. I'm thinking 17-14. I don't see us beating UCONN or at Cincy or SMU. We will drop most road games. 17-14 is mine let's see how it plays out.

RE: Predictions for our record this year
I like the Tigers to win every game until the last 2, but more than likely there will be a let down or 2 in the first 8, but then these Tigers could win one of those last 2.
So, I'm thinking likely to have 20 or 21 wins by the time the AAC tournament starts.
I'd say 21-10 optimistic and 20-11 very doable.
After a loss, the board seems to go too negative. We'll see an easy win over Jacksonville St. and predictions will start to be more optimistic.
I'm assuming that Temple at home will be a tough game, but a win and then East Carolina and USF will be over-matched and you may start to see people on the board talking about winning out. I think the board also goes too positive, after beating weak sisters.
We'll see. It's still an NIT resume.
Good news is that a team like this could actually build on a good NIT run.

Well, ECU just beat Cincy at ECU, 50-46, and Houston is up at home over UConn 48 to 33 with 11 to go.
It's a goofy year for our conference. Who knows what our record will be when it's all said and done.

I never said it, however, if you believe Memphis fails to make the tournament if they win their remaining games up til the AAC championship, you're wrong.
Which means, as of today, they still dont have to win the AAC to get an invite.
That may change depending on the upcoming games, ubt it doesnt change the fact that today, or last week, Memphis did not need to win the championship to get in.
Sometimes you guys really dont understand what you are saying.

Regular season finish anywhere between 17-14 & 19-12.
AAC is down this year so MEMPHIS could earn a bye and advance to the semifinals. So 2 wins max.
NIT bound.

18 or 19 wins. But, the AAC is not great and I believe that the Tigers have a decent chance at winning the conference tourney. Probably we end up in the NIT.

Have to appreciate the posters optimism at least. Still won't get Memphis a bid though. Have to win the tournament.

Predictions for our record this year
I predicted 17-14 before the season started and was ridiculed for predicting such a lousy record.. I think I have missed 2 games so far but had the record correct to date. Had us winning at Tulsa and losing here to Cinci which just cancelled each other out.. I think 18-15 will be final record before an NIT invite..
