Tulsa Still Undefeated
Where are those who said they were a bad choice for the AAC? They will also be competitive in football soon enough.

Thank you for the kind words. It was a rough start to the AAC for Tulsa, going 2-10 in football, but I'm glad our basketball team has turned it on and proven we belong. Excited to see what Monty can do in his first year at TU, I don't think we will be competing for the title this year, but making a bowl should be feasible.

I'm usually quiet about things like that, but I was never an opponent of Tulsa's inclusion. Not too knowledgeable on whether they were worthy or not, but to use a CFB phrase, they passed the eye test. IMO.

Still don't belong. We should have stuck with the western division.

Definitely. Boise St and SDSU are much more so household names athletically than Tulsa and Tulane.

Add UNLV, Fresno, BYU, Air Force to those 2.

Same they all are so humble and have a very realistic view of their program.

Unrealistic about what. Top twenty five football over the last ten years. Top fifteen hoops all time. If you dispute, do a little research.

Let's do a little stat comparison in football:

Tulsa bowl appearances 19 with 9 wins.
Cincinnati 16 with 8 wins.

Tulsa all time record 597-453-27 (.567 win percentage)
Cincinnati all time record 589–563–51 (.511 win percentage)

head to head Tulsa leads 16-13 07-coffee3

I'm not crying just having a little fun.

Out of all the fan bases in the AAC Cincinnati has consistently been the one to complain about being "stuck" with Tulsa. There is that better?

How many times have you finished top twenty five. We have five in the last decade. So please stop.

So you talk history in basketball and then a decade in football, really consistent argument you have there.

I remember the talk from here that coming from CUSA, Tulsa would need to time build up recruiting to compete in AAC Basketball. So much for that I guess.

Espn didn't want to pay up for a coast to coast conference. It sounds good on paper but unless there is money it isn't worth the mess. I'd rather add 3 hoops teams to pump up the aac basketball to 14 teams. Definitely Wichita State and VCU should get a look. Ncaa credits pump a lot of money into a power bb conference. It would get us a lot more hoops inventory for networks plus grab more markets.
