Better add Cincinnati to the title. Losing to one of the worst teams in Division 1 and looking like absolute crap in every road game, we don't deserve at this point.

One of the worst in Division one that have been within five points at the end of the game in their last three games, all against the "top six".

Yep lot of people looking forward to Cinci in T-Town. UConn was big, but Cinci has made it personal.

Today's garbage effort not withstanding, that is absolutely not true. Cincinnati has played in more bowl games in the past 30 years (or 20, or 10) than Tulane, SMU, and Temple combined. Cincinnati also equals Tulsa, Tulane, and SMU combined in men's basketball NCAA tournament appearances all-time (28). No offense intended to the schools you mentioned, but get real.

RE: Tulsa & Temple on the bubble
All this January/February bubble talk is good for internet arguments, but it isn't really relevant until March. We saw today that one game changes things.
As of today, February 1st, everyone not in the top 15 could end up "on the bubble".

Tulsa's at large resume is still pretty bad. We really need to beat SMU and Cinci.

Your chances of beating both those teams is very small.

Yet for all that the Bearcats have accomplished, they are in a conference with Tulsa, Tulane, SMU Temple, ECU, etc. I'm not saying it's fair or "right"; but that's where the Bearcats (and Tigers) are. I struggle with fans of some programs acting like they are clearly better than the rest of the conference.

Guess it depends on your definition of small.
Pomeroy puts the odds at 31.5%

I like UC fans.
The ones here are pretty funny.
Tulsa will split with SMU. Both teams excel in transition. Pony has better big men but we are deeper in the backcourt.

Outside some top seeds, sometimes LOCATION of regionals is more important than if a team gets a 9 seed vs a 7 seed...as sometimes home/regional courts help with fan attendance, which can help in close games.
Here's this year's REAL First Round locations: (Sorry, Dayton, OH doesn't count as 1st Round...you are not fooling anyone NCAA):
Jacksonville
Louisville
Pittsburgh
Portland
Charlotte
Columbus
Omaha
Seattle
For Tulsa....Omaha is the closest regional site.
You obviously don't want to be sent to Portland, Seattle, Jacksonville or Charlotte.

I'll still take a 10/11/12 over an 8/9 any day.
And those are really all terrible sites for Tulsa residents. Charlotte is easier and cheaper than Omaha!

I say we get the best crowd in Jacksonville, people will want to go see a game and also be able to take a nice spring break trip.
