I was expecting a letdown at sometime. Not too worried. We were flat and Drexel matched up well. So far this season we have bounced back. The team has still achieved much more than most expected.

UNCW has been there and done that before several times. It goes over better when others tell you how good your team is and not yourself when on another team's site. With that written, you do have a very good and fun team to check out. It looks like the Tribe should win and go to the NCAA this year.

I give three teams an excellent shot at winning the whole thing (W&M, UNCW and NU) and a few others have a real shot. It's really going to come down to match-ups...we don't want to see UD on Saturday. Anything can happen and UNCW is a top-tier team so shake it off and get after JMU.

I agree but it's basketball and guess what?It happens to good defensive teams sometimes and it really means nothing in the big picture.The season is a marathon,not a sprint and all you really need to worry about is getting better on both ends and I see that with UNCW.I would also say that UNCW should not get 86 on anybody but if they do I am not surprised at all.I don't really even see it as a let down or that UNCW did not play well but just a game that they lost on the road in a very tough place to win.

Hoops, I see what you're saying by that. I do agree that no team in the CAA should be scoring 86 on us, however Drexel was playing with some more confidence after knocking off NU and were at home. That makes a difference. Our guys couldn't score to save their life, fell behind and reverted back to "Oh sh_t, we need to hit 3's to catch up!" mode. That's what caused the 86 in my opinion. Long rebounds led to quick points by Drexel. On top of that, Mullet was spot on. Bruiser had his team ready for the press. My issue with that is that we should have recognized they were able to beat our press after the first half and gone to a half court set on defense. Those easy points destroyed us.

The Tribe squad is very good this season, and I'm okay with him pumping his chest over here. They handled us by mounting one of the largest comeback bids in CAA history. Not to mention, myself and another member of our board (not to be named) have been stirring things up a little on their boards. It's going to be a fun rivalry the rest of the way for hoops, and we all know they're gonna get owned by our baseball team this year!

You guys are still in good shape. Just like the tribe v. Elon, sometimes you stumble on the road. I think any of the teams can win one game in the tournament, but I only think the Tribe, the Seahawks, and Northeastern can win 3 in a row. Will be a tough game for us on Saturday I am sure.
