RE: Sat 1/31 game thread-Miami @ WMU
I saw this game live last Saturday and was jonesing for Bronco Hockey so bad tonight that I had to watch the NCHC.tv video. Frankly, it was impressive: Tiffels has developed both his hands and his toughness, McKee was called upon in clutch situations, Kovacs and of course Hargrove hustled hard, and as usual, Hafner was great.

FYI, Hafner has the 99 Lives cheat code and he's only used about 80 so far this this season. It's gotten to the point where his stats are padded because he's making three saves where he should only have to make two, but he's invincible when he comes outside the arc. I don't know what to say except keep being great Hafner!

Bronco Hockey entering the offensive zone was awesome to watch. Murray's instincts on defense are solid and maybe perfect, and watching the team on offense last Saturday was a thrill, even with the turnovers at the blue line. We know when to chase and when to skate it in so I won't call out _____ and _____ for skating it when they should've flipped it in.

Stewart looks to be doing a good amount of leading by example as he appears to be developing well due to hard work. Idk, it's hard to tell in hockey when you have gems like DeKeyser coming through at such a seemingly late age. Only then do we realize that it's not skill but hard work that matters.
