Globalization of football
I would like to know your thoughts about it. The audience here in Brazil got a boost of 800%.
ESPN will even show the game of the brazillian national football team against Panama.
I believe they don't show the games on public television because of the duration of time. The sports channel of the biggest television group from here is getting tired of being beaten by NFL on ESPN.

Interesting thought/premise about the internationalization of Football.
I would say for it to take a real hold the country needs to have some degree of intramural/collegiate/pro levels of playing it for that area.

It would be very hard. You are culturally very good in organization. We...
The major part of brazillian football teams are on the beach. The varsity leagues aren't able to win a high school team, I think.
But I have good expectations; people really show love for the sport, they pay to compete and make anything possible to arrive at time for the games. There are teams with partnerships with soccer teams to help the divulgation.
Recently, a good campaign has been made to attract sponsorship: "Isn't easy to live in the country of football, and like the wrong football". I will post the video if it get subtitles.
