Don't care squat. Unfortunately I'll miss the commercials.

My interest in the Super Bowl couldn't be more deflated. Actually I'm boycotting the SB until the Redskins again make the playoffs.

I haven't watched for the commercials in ages. There haven't been very man standout ones of late.

I find the subplots almost as interesting as the game itself.

Last year's games was one of the first blowout ones I wanted to the end.... I needed to see how bad the train wreck would be.

I'm sick of ESPiN's coverage of it.

I really haven't been into it in a few years.

I used to be one of those guys that really liked watching sports on television. I watched all the NFL games, watched most CFB games, watched CBB and watched MLB. In the past thee or four years I have just tune dout. I watched The Bearcats play football or basketball and I'll watch a Bengals or Reds game, but I don't watch anyone else. The viewing of sports has just been ruined for me. It is too mainstream. It is the eqivalent of a music band that put together great hits when they were on an Independent Record label, but once they got the big contract the music was watered down and never the same.

I blame all of this on ESPN, the internet and Fantasy Sports.

i suggest hosting a super bowl party at our house but my wife said that that would be a problem since we don't have a tv. i laughed and said that we'd have it on the radio. super bowl parties are more about getting friends together. but that fell through as one of her coworkers is hosting a super bowl party with a taco bar! her husband is japanese and lives in northern kentucky next to a bunch of great sushi bars (toyota has a major plant near by, or soon won't) so i fully expected sushi. oh well, tacos will do. i do have perpetual taco fever. so that's good

ditto for me (except it's Rice Owls college sports and Atlanta Braves baseball.)

Used to be really into the NFl, but the few times I've tried watching last few years, its been so bland and boring.

The last Super Bowl i remember was when New England won in New Orleans. Only really watched because U2 was halftime act. Bored with them nowadays as well.

I actually have been following the Hawks recently for the first time in 2 decades. Haven't seen a game yet, but am interested in their now 18 game win streak and in the kind of decent players and team concept they seem tom have. Kudos to Danny ferry for putting together such a great team. I think the most enjoyable part pf this is that none of these guys seems to be the typical NBA A$$#0!@ type that basically ruined the pro sport for me years ago.

Amazing what more or less decent people, team players and team oriented play can do for both wins and fan interest.

Guess that's why I lost interest in NFL. I just don't care about most of today's modern A$$#01@ players.

Anyway. Will be going for a run, reading a good book and getting to bed early for a head start on a good week.

I'm watching. I don't care about either team, however, Jamie Collins on New England's Defense grew up 10 minutes from my hometown and played at my Alma Mater. He was Defensive Rookie last year, what did he do, he came back home, bought his parents a home and went to the local hospitals and visited kids, and signed anything and everything for free.

I'm watching for Jamie Collins.

I'm watching the game, and I hope the Pats get their butts kicked. Seattle has a couple of former Mountaineers on the team.

I just wish they'd shut up about it and play the damn game.
