WBB vs Elon 1/30/15
The lady Dukes face off against Elon tonight at the Convo. Wife and I will be heading out after lunch to head to the Burg for the game. Who else is going? The Lady Dukes beat Elon by 17 at Elon earlier this month.

Team has been playing very well as of late, looking forward to continuing their winning ways.

Go Dukes!!

Dukes need to keep bringing it. The score of the game at Elon was a bit deceptive. I went to that one and Elon defended JMU very well and they have a big girl inside that was at least a nuisance for Okafor. They couldn't score against us that well, but you could tell our team was frustrated they couldn't put them away until the second half. Seems like the ladies have been playing even better lately though!

Planning to leave the office about 4 which should let me roll into the Convo right about "Start Wearing Purple" time. Hoping for a good game. The ladies head out on a tough three game road trip after this game so it would be nice to send them off with a strong home court win.

Just that quick we go on a 20 - 0 run, everything going in for us and nothing for them.

Remember that edge-of-your-seat one point win over Towson? Feels like forever ago. Ho hum 20 point wins are just what the doctor ordered.

At this point, i'd be very surprised if we don't go undefeated in conference play.

Your comment strikes me as self-loathing.

The CAA is not a "bad conference" for WBB. Power indices from a variety of trackers place CAA WBB at around 11 or 12 this year, and in very recent years the league has been as high as 8. Bottom line, CAA WBB has some street cred.

Also, JMU boasts an excellent WBB team this year (not just a "very good team"...a label that damns by faint praise). JMU WBB plays in a slightly above avg. conference with about 3 other sub 100 ranked teams (which makes wins over them "good wins"...and that includes the victories over Elon. The bottom half of the CAA WBB are RPI killers, but that fact doesn't exactly make the CAA "bad"

As always Longhorn you are correct with your personal attacks. I was wrong in my comment. The Ladies just beat the 4th place team by 29 points. All other teams below that 4th place team in the powerful CAA are below .500.

Ok, now I will go back to hating myself.

Thank you for reinforcing my point. An EXCELLENT team (not a "very good team") blew out a good team (one that floats in and around the top 100) by 29.

So, yeah, you may crawl back into your man cave now and continue to piss on the Dukes by damning by faint praise and dissing the CAA.

And just for the record, calling you out for posting nonsense isn't a personal attack. Grow a pair.

You can never disagree with a post without prefacing your point with a personal attack. I disagree with about 80% of what you spew on here and have never once called you a Pompous Prick. Well until now.

This point has been generally dispelled before. If JMU goes to MAC, MAC gains ground in this list by adding what would immediately become their best team, and CAA loses ground by subtracting their best team. Someone can probably do the math to make this fact, but it's not hard to fathom.
