She is a Western woman so it wasn't that big of a deal. But, had the circumstances been different it isn't respectable to disrespect other people based on your personal beliefs. When in Rome

When I first read this, I thought "good for her."

The more I thought about it, I came to the realization that it is only her arrogance and self importance on display. Had, for argument's sake, Sarah Palin visited the Saudis and hadn't put on the scarf, Michelle likely would have issued a release criticizing Palin for not respecting the Islamic culture.

It's just Michelle acting in her role as the Queen of the World.

Ted Cruz is an obviously self-serving pompous @ss. At least be a little coy .

Western female journalists routinely wear what the locals wear in the Middle East.
