ACC Football schedule out
http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball...l-schedule

one thing real interesting is the lack of Thursday night games- only 3 this year....
Sep 19(going up against first TNF game on CBS)- Clemson @ Louisville
Oct 29 UNC @ Pitt
Nov 12 VT @ GT

4 Friday night games(not counting Thanksgiving)

Yeah, the NFL is having a big impact on football scheduling.

RE: ACC Football schedule out
There are actually 7 games on Thursday night; 4 of them are on the opening weekend, then 3 more spread over the season.

Now why did you have to go and ruin his ACC bashing?

I'm not sure saying that the ACC has less Thursday games is an act of ACC bashing.

Me coming out and saying that it is funny that you guys actually have 7 Thursday games, now that would be ACC bashing.

The first weekend is kind of it's own animal. 3 games that are going up against the NFL. That number feels WAY down from just a few years ago...

Actually glad to see NCSU say no to Friday Night Home games. Friday night HS football is a tradition and it really upsets the NC HS coaches. Ask ECU about that. I am glad the deal does not force teams to Host Friday Night games. I have no issue playing away game on Friday night but I have to admit I was shocked the VT and Wake were willing to play home games. http://www.newsobserver.com/2015/01/29/4....html?rh=1
