Coach K vs. CAA refs
It seems like officiating this year has been worse than prior years. I've always felt like Kersey, Clougherty, Nestor, Heater, Cassidy & Humes were taking a day off when they were assigned CAA games instead of ACC games.
They have a renewed interest. This year I've watched these veteran refs when Coach Keatts questions their calls. My sense is that they are trying to establish their "control" over the 1st year Head Coach and the more Coach K questions their judgment, the worse the calls go against the Seahawks.
With attendance in Trask improving, at least there is a loud voice aimed at the refs when they make bad calls.....I think the students were chanting "push-it, push-it".......hopefully the refs got the point.

I've always felt that the refs, after being 'backed down' by high-profile/high net worth ACC coaches, try to re-establish the manhood they checked at the door in ACC games by over-compensating in trying to show the CAA coaches "who's in charge"
