CAA Hoops on Twitter
Does anyone follow @CAAHoops on twitter? https://twitter.com/CAAHoops

A couple of times this year that have tweeted a screen shot of the CAA standings from ESPN's website. No big deal other than the fact that they have set JMU as a "favorite team" on ESPN. You can tell this because JMU is highlighted in yellow. I just found this interesting.

That's not the CAA's account, theirs is @CAABasketball. The @CAAHoops account is apparently run by students, according to the bio.

Good point, I should have read that. Still interesting though.

Yeah, that Twitter account was once used by Michael Litos, now PxP guy of VCU Basketball. When VCU left the CAA, he handed that handle over to an entire class at JMU (I believe Kevin Warner's class?). It's run by JMU students as part of their class work.

Warner does a good job with JMU/CAA Twitter. This is a more general comment on CAA Basketball Twitter as opposed to a specific account, but "CAA Hoops Twitter" as a collective is still a fun group even after all the defections and it always brings me back to a soft spot for the CAA during basketball season even after I'm so down about CAA fan apathy during football.

Hofstra, Drexel, Northeastern, W&M, and UNCW all have a fan/writer/goofball or two that are great to interact with and follow their teams closely.
