The bigger question is, why hasn't NMSU or even UNM offered? There is also ENM... I think

I read on reddit.com/r/cfb that NMSU took on 4 QBs last year so they just can't take another. Not sure if that is accurate. I watched he highlight film and he reminded me a lot of Doughty. He is tall, and while he doesn't have a cannon, he can make all the throws. Throws a very catch-able ball, with great touch and accuracy. Seems to have limited mobility, but can move around in the pocket (or run if forced out).

I get his competition was weak, but from the video I watched, he was putting the ball in the right spot almost every time. I would take him at WKU if we were already filled up at the QB spot. We need every scholly we have left for defense.

Productive and accurate through the air? I'm not sure that fits what we're looking for in a QB at UTEP.
