'32' T-Shirts for Saturday
I've been in contact with Eric Sturgis, who was behind the '32' T-shirt last night.

We're trying to come up with a plan to raise $ to buy more shirts.

To make a go of it, we need say a min of $250 for an order. Eric already did one order which we saw last night.

Any interest in chipping in? I pledged a share of the $250.

If we can get a half dozen folks to contribute $25 each, it can be a go.

im in for $25.

gofundme is an easy site to use for something like this. it makes things more transparent (because we can see the total amount of money given) than if we just send money via paypal to someone.

Yeah, gofundme is the easiest way for people to donate, especially if they don't live in the area (like myself). I'll gladly contribute.

BTW, I have been corresponding with Eric, Rob Hull and our very own Frank. We're working this hard.

I'm really hoping hundreds of students, hundred(s) of student-athletes (this is one of their fellow student-athletes), etc. attend the double header Saturday.

I hope the athletic department is encouraging our student-athletes to attend.

Having the south end of the Convo full of EMU students would be really beautiful.

Hope for a nice turnout of WMU fans, too.

I got a Tweet (back) from Michael Nizolek. If we opt to go crowd funding website (as Sam mentioned) he might be able to get us some online coverage.

We are looking to be on track to pulling this off. Will try to finalize it this morning. One of the EagleNation leaders will pick up and distribute the shirts. One of the other leaders will place the order and I'll front the money to pay for them.

I wouldn't mind trying to help start a crowd funding website for EagleNation to pay for these shirts and 'other future business purposes.'

The order will go in before noon today. Rob (EagleNation) and I are finalizing the sizing and choosing the weight of the shirt (there are a few choices of shirts, e.g., Gildan, Hanes adult beefy Ts, etc.).

Rob will pick them up and do the distribution Saturday.

Thanks to all who pledged support. The order has been placed.

These shirts aren't cheap and we had to pay a premium for rush service (normal turnaround is seven days). Also they destroyed the old stencil from the first order so we didn't get a discount for a second order.

Rob Hull of EagleNation will handle the distribution of shirts Saturday.

Thanks to Steve and Rob for handling this. My oldest daughter and I will be attending Saturday. She will be wearing her white EMU gear. Even though she is a CMU grad and a MSU masters working on her doctorate she loved coming to EMU for the EMU classic. She heard about the accident and wanted to come. All my children and my stepchildren have been to EMU for sports events.

Steve and Rob do you need more than $25 to cover the premium handling and rush order? Let us know where we need to send $$$ and how much.

Thanks, '79.

I'll work out plans for receiving the pledges of financial support.

My first reaction is to have say Rob collect the monies and then send a check to me.

Essentially it is an EagleNation type activity but I'm fronting the money.

RE: '32' T-Shirts for Saturday
Just a last quick update:

Rob (Eagle Nation) has been coordinating with the Athletic Department.

This will allow us to compliment what EMU is doing with their 'White out' and tribute.

I think you'll find that what Eagle Nation and fans here are doing will be a very nice compliment to what EMU athletics are doing.

I think you'll be pleased.

I am hot! They handed out the t-shirts during the mens game and nearly every single student that got one left before the women's team even got out of the tunnel! There wasn't any left for the people watched her play and root for the team! What a blown opportunity!
