FreeUAB Student Organization Donation Portal
http://www.gofundme.com/fusouab

Here's a recently launched donation portal to directly raise money for the FreeUAB student organization started by Tim Alexander and Cece Chavez. Money raised will help towards providing food for the BOT protest as well as getting a bus for students to go the Montgomery protest.

RE: FreeUAB Student Organization Donation Portal
Has the football foundation incorporated and gotten non-profit status yet?

There is a LOT of money floating around and donations and whatnot happening with little structure or oversight or planning. Would be great to have an official, clear-tax-status organization to consolidate all of this and provide some legitimacy

Yeah I've been asking the same thing. I have already donated a ton ( at least for me ) for the rally give aways and for Tim. I would like a way to take future donations off my taxes.

The Foundation is working on non-profit status and I'm working with some accountants to hammer out the details through the Alumni Game donations.

Me too. There was a time where we could've gotten a lot of help around the country. I think that time has passed. We can still get some help I'm sure though. Something official needs to be set up though before I would want to pass it along to anybody.
