Can the CUSA start their own network?
Maybe, since we have 4 Texas schools, we can do a deal with the Longhorn Network, to supply them their OOC opponents (at least 2 per year)?

This cross pollination would help BOTH networks, since the DFW, SA, HOUSTON, AND EL PASO markets are nothing to sneeze at.

Rice has scheduled games with Texas in the past. They schedule RICE for a reason. This bundling idea should appeal to them for that same reason.

Face it gents, we really need to market this conference ourselves. We aren't gonna get paid for our content otherwise. Not only that but the exposure we'll get on a normal channel will leave us with FROSTBITE!

That's exposure for ya. IMO, WE NEED TO LEVERAGE OUR GREAT MARKETS!! Strike a deal with the B1G AND SEC networks as well, to cross pollinate our regional programs like Marshall (to play UM) and WKU (to play UK).

We gotta think big, blue horseshoe, we are going after the majors!

If we start our own network we need to get FRED THOMPSON to become the face behind our telecasts.

The CUSA hasn't been marketed in a big time way, and universities like Rice and UNT have suffered for it.

We need to make it a BIG DEAL to watch a Rice game.

It would be great if we could make Terry Funk a commentator for CUSA West football. Perhaps we could bring in Ric Flair to do a celebrity match during halftime of the first Charlotte football game.

THAT'S the kind of fire we need to see this league and sell our network. RENEGADE STYLE! Just like the ABA did in the 70s.

We can't just rely on bending over and accepting the status quo sausage like we've been doing.

If we get Fred Thompson in on this deal, our teams would get the respect our fans feel we deserve. Wouldn't that be nice?

Don't need a reverse mortgage spokesperson. CUSA already on a network and for now it's probably the best we'll get.

Can this go into one big thread? Or in the C-USA board? Basically, not here?
