Looks like an accurate representation of expectations to me. Maryland has a legitimate shot, though.

AFAIU, selected conference games will be shown on BTN, unless picked up by ESPN, men's sometime in the weekend, and IIRC women's on Thursday. The BTN schedule is supposed to be shown here once it has been announced, sometime "in the winter".

I see from googling that last year, BTN showed a Penn State men's game in late March and a Penn State women's game in early April, so it seems a safe bet that they'll pick up a number of the games now that its a conference sport.

FYI, ESPN has released its schedule of games.

That's what the Big Ten conference site says:

Men's Lacrosse (Thursday, Apr. 30 - Saturday, May 2)
College Park, Md. (Maryland)

Women's Lacrosse (Thursday, Apr. 30 - Sunday, May 3)
Piscataway, N.J. (Rutgers)

That's correct. Rutgers has the women's tourney and UMD has the men's. Lax magazine has it reversed is all.

Early Feb to early May plus the NCAA Tournament, that is a long season.

Four months is a long season? Basketball, baseball, hockey and wrestling are all longer than lax, and football is at least as long.
