SACS campus visit
Forgive me for the double post, but when is SACS due to visit the campus?

Also, is there any firm data that supports an investigation is possible? What are the plans for a campus wide show of No Confidence upon their arrival.

What are the plans for the next BOT meeting?

>> Some have said that having a president who has received a no confidence vote automatically triggers an investigation

What are the plans for the next BOT meeting?

From what I 've been told, a no confidence vote (Watts got 2.5) means SACS placed UAB on an "administrative capability" status.

Watts has been trying to make this right, but he has forgotten that humility and humbleness are big parts of reconciliation.

Ok, still can't force him out unless the board says so. By the state constitutio,n even the good guvna says its nothing he can do.
On a more serious note, if the state continues to ignore this if SACS says he needs to go, how bad does it look?

Extremely bad! It looks bad enough as it is (with all of the no confidence votes, and outcry from the community).

These two links are old and for the SACS visit ten years ago.

We're going back in time to let SACS know what the BOT is about to do to us over the next ten years.

RE: SACS campus visit
My understanding is that SACS has a preliminary survey team on campus this week. We need to pack the meeting tomorrow night and the BoT meetings with angry, vocal UAB people demonstrating their displeasure. Make a sign and bring it. Wear your FreeUAB gear. Chant. Raise hell. Act up, raise cain. Let the BoT and anyone else interested know that we're still mad as hell and not going away.
