Loughton absolutely dominated that game

I was at that game (I only make about 1 a year). the ted was rocking...this was the season we ended up in the NIT final four right? (and GMU's trip to the real FF)?

I hate that something from 2006 is old school.

This was awesome. Thanks for sharing. The energy in that crowd was unbelievable. I wish that ODU and VCU were still in the same conference so we could have this again.

Loughton, Dahi, Vasylius, Williamson.....this was absolutely my favorite Monarchs team! I still have the team poster that was signed by all the players hanging in my office at work.

I sure would love to have another big like Alex Loughton someday. Boy, was he fun to watch!

Anyone else notice how few people were in the VIP room during the game? I wish we could go back to the days when those in the VIP room left to sit in their seats during the game. They leave a lot of holes in the arena that are very noticeable on TV, as well as a huge gap in the crowd support for the team.

In a survey sent out recently, I have suggested that ODU open the Big Blue Room at 5:45 for a 7 p.m. game and close it at 6:45. That gives folks an hour to get their drink on and it puts their asses in the seats for the anthem and player intros. If you agree, please let the admin know.

I also completed the survey and suggested that they close the VIP room like they close the Big Blue Room during the games. But that won't fly, I'm sure, because the bigger donors have VIP room access and they can see the game in progress. I just wish they would WANT to go down to their seats closer to the action.

Manny Upton and Capel were thick as thieves. I hated when he did our games with VCU.

You know I thought it was Dahi but one of the clips showed him playing unless maybe I just missed him on the court. Maybe he was hurt?

I went to NYC for the final four. It was so disappointing. Dahi dislocated his shoulder (I think that was the injury) and Alex was on one leg due a bad sprain. Not to mention the Michigan fans were the most obnoxious ever!
