But we look so much better then all those teams, We should win 22-25 games this year just because we are so much more athletic then they are.

We manage to out-horrible horrible teams and make them think they are good. Painful. No excuse for not winning the game by 10 plus points.

The good news. Noland was at this game along with the VMI game.

FURMAN IS GOD AWFUL. I guess that makes us worse than God awful. Tired of playing down to competition.

Yes, exactly. And that is why we can't accept anything less without demanding a coaching change.

So, we have basically lost to the entire bottom half of the SoCon but have only one questionable win against the top half....

6 guard lineup??

I guess sarcasm doesn't work on the internet.

We're going to make NC central look like that other team from Durham on Saturday. This team has 7 or 8 more losses in it.

It's hard to win on the road in a gym with a few dozen blue haired country clubbers in attendance.

Bartow just said our guards aren't good defensive rebounders. Really!? Guards aren't good rebounders?

RE: Official Game Thread: @ Furman (L 55-59)
WHY aren't our guards good rebounders??? Why can't anyone rebound worth a ****?

Doesn't that have something to do with coaching? Rebounding is about hustle and motivation. I'm fed up. Based on what I saw tonight, the offense is completely clueless. Can't find a shot. Can't create a shot. The last sequence when Riley threw up an off balance shot down 55-53 - he had Lester WIDE open at the top of the key. Yeah , don't pass it to him - throw up that crap, Jalen.

This team is in free fall. NC Central will beat the crap out of us on our home floor. Pretty sad. At least the women play hard and find ways to win.

All the teams have seen the tapes of our games. Our small guard line up cannot use quickness to any advantage and we get into slow down games against horrible teams and lose. Small, short teams that cannot rebound are naturally going to lose games where they cannot speed it up and it looks like we cannot.

Banks had a pretty good first half, but we hardly saw him or any size in the 2nd half because I guess MuBar flipped a coin and decided to go small all half. Tommy Williams has proved he can play but continues to sit.
