How many teams do you know that have an identity? Name 15.

1Duke- press man
2Michigan- 1-3-1
3Syracuse 2-3
4VCU -press
5Kentucky DDM
6Louisville- press
7Arkansas- press
8Georgetown- Princeton O
9West Va- press
10Baylor- 2-3
11Kansas- post offense
12Ohio State- man to man
13Wisconsin- passing oriented motion
14South Carolina- toughness
15Villanova - small ball, 4 guards

Each team listed has a coach that coaches his team to play a certain style.
Each team you can point to at least one thing maybe more.
You can't do that with Memphis.

No, but he did have some failures - 95 and Drexel being one of them.

Every season is judged based on talent and expectations as well, amigo.

I think Josh had one very good season - the 31-5 team that went undefeated in CUSA. They still shouldn't have lost to St. Louis, but whatever. Last year was just barely a good season - based on experienced and incoming talent and expectations.

On the whole, win big or go home means at SOME POINT you should win big (regular season AND postseason) - it's year 6 and he still hasn't and most likely won't, so that leaves what - year 7 to win big?

Larry at least made it to the S16 and Elite 8.

Amigo, I could have sworn you have repeated "no excuses" and "win big or go home" at least 1,000 times when it refers to Pastner.

#smh

#saloogied

Yep. Because it's year six and he still hasn't won big and ALL it has been is excuses.

Ouch.

How many are left on that '13 class?

The '15 is high because we bought the dad, right?

Any idea who Memphis is in deep on for the '16 class. Normally we have a few ideas.

Short list, I guess includes the project/tall kid from Lexington (Marshall). Gonna have 4+ scholarships available. (Shaq, Burrell, Hawkins, Kedren and prolly Austin).
