Here's a thought!
Assuming the program doesn't make any changes, we are scheduled to have both Kemy and Stetson back next season. Stetson should replace a scholarship player we lose this year. Kemy is already on scholarship. Is Gus still on scholarship this year? I can't recall.
Anyway, we've signed one player, Tyson Batiste, a point guard.
How many scholarships will we have available if nobody leaves who is expected to return? Obviously someone will probably leave who still has eligibility, but I'm making the illogical assumption that everyone returns.04-cheers

RE: Here's a thought!
They have to sign a big man who can play immediately. If not, it's another year like this one, or worse. I was told that's what they're looking for. I'll be happy if they can sign a big guy who can rebound, block shots, play defense and get the ball to the shooters. He doesn't have to be a scorer. We have enough of those who can score the ball.

A new coach will not keep Stetson or Kemi since he is under no obligation to do so. I don't like it, but it's a cut throat business. I'm sure he would do his best to keep James W, James Reid, Josh, and Mariek, and maybe JT. Since they are seniors and/or previously redshirted players I believe they would stay.

RE: Here's a thought!
Who knows who a new coach might keep? It depends on where he comes from and what he's looking for. He might see things in kids that haven't been exploited properly, in his opinion, and find a larger role for some who can play his style of ball. I would hate to see Stetson cut after he took one for the team this year. Obviously if Steve remains, both will be here next season, as they should be. Of course, some might choose to leave on their own. A lot of if's and but's to think about, unless a change is made prior to the end of the season, which is highly doubtful.
