It is being reported that the WWE Network web page crashed last night by the sheer volume of customer signing on to cancel their network subscription after yet another pathetic PPV event.

Investor confidence hasn't been very high lately and there are still potential civil and criminal charges ahead for Vince having to do with his comments which some claim purposely mislead investors on the new TV contract.

The authority being removed from control shoot they had last fall may actually occur as many investors are demanding that nepotism on the B.O.D. be done away with.

LOL

They showed the entire thing on Raw tonight because the blizzard canceled tonight's Raw in Connecticut. The Lesner and Royal Rumble matches were spectacular.

Kudos to the WWE on another fantastic Rumble. It continues to be one of the most entertaining shows of the year.

Its fascinating to see just how crazy this thing has got with Daniel Bryan. He is BY FAR the most popular wrestler on the planet now. Its not even CLOSE. The anger that his fans spew when he loses is like nothing the business has ever seen. Roman Reigns is an incredibly popular rising superstar. But even he was boo'ed out of the building for winning last night instead of DB.

Granted though that the RR and WM crowds are the most ultra hardcore of all and not indicative of most WWE shows. But it is still absolutely fascinating to see this.

Interesting take considering most see this past RR as a complete failure. Kane and Show in final four. Bryan getting tossed without much work and being put on Smackdown.

What?

DB will be one of the top draws on Raw every night the rest of the year.

This isn't 5 years ago, the main event talent is on both shows every single week now.

Everyone is "put on smackdown" every Thursday night. Cena, Show, Ziggler, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, all of them.

RE: Royal Fumble
That is a HUGE problem with WWE.... they have so few storylines going. The Authority bit is stale. They have the same storylines on BOTH shows with the same superstars going all the time.

Roman is NOT ready to carry a show and he's being forced down the viewers throats. That is why the fans booed so loudly!!!!

I hope Lesnar beats him worse than Cena got it!!!

What's going to happen is that Rollins will cash in his Money in the Bank and walk out of WM as champ. Mark it down

That article did NOT address the OP. It even mentions the #canceltheWWEnetwork rally. The new numbers don't come out until Feb 12th. Amazing what you can learn when you actually read the article you link!!! 03-shhhh

Did I say it did? Did I say anything about people unsubscribing? Just saw an extremely related article and posted it. Get off my ass.

The OP said people were unsubscribing, you posted an article seemingly to refute his point and said that it looked like people were still subscribing....

If you get your knickers in a wad for getting corrected, don't make post trying to correct others. 03-idea

Reigns beats Lesner, Rollins cashes in and screws Reigns over.

Perhaps so.

The devil is in the details. The majority of the increase has come from new INTERNATIONAL subscriptions. So it changes the 1 million needed break even point. Since the original 1 million was based solely on US subscribers. A year of WWE network ($119.88) barely breaks even with the revenue brought in by Wrestlemania PPV buy ($59.99) and a minor PPW event($45.99). That is not taking in account money lost in the other 10 PPV events($459.90) which now come with the WWE network. So for each WWE subscription the company loses around $450 if the person bought ever PPV in a year.

"The actual number — 1,000,648 — is the current subscriber count, as of Jan. 27, and after “Royal Rumble,” which was available in 170 countries and territories."

Remember they needed 1 million DOMESTIC subscriptions to break even. When you add the other countries the break even mark rises to over 3 million subscriptions. .

RE: Royal Fumble
Strange, I always thought when you make a statement that refutes someone else's point, you attempt to correct their inaccuracy.

Guess I stand corrected.

If I had called you an idiot, railed about how stupid you are as a human or attacked you personally, I would say that rises to the level of being a douche.... however, since I only pointed out that the article you used to refute the OP almost helped prove it, I think you were being way too thin skinned.
