I don't think it's my imagination but,
I've noticed that around the time Chasse was scheduled to take over as AD, our newspaper coverage has been much greater. I've seen several large articles each week, including a big article about the UALR-ASU women's game this week. Could this just be a coincidence?
As I've heard some people say, "I don't believe in coincidences".04-cheers

It is kind hard to ignore WBB when they are undefeated in Conference & winning by 20+. In order to get ANY coverage on a routine basis they have to win. otherwise it would cut into the daily Hog recruiting column.

I don't read the ADG, but if the coverage has mostly been about the Foley and the ladies, that would probably support some of the posters theory that if you win you get coverage. Maybe one day we will be able to test that theory for the men if we can ever win on a consistent basis against good competition.

The other day, there was a large article for both. I can't recall if it was the Arlington game or the one before that. It was a double header. Both had large articles and box scores if I remember correctly.

I can summarize it for you. Every commitment the hogs get is "an under-rated stud" every recruit that signed with someone else "the hogs backed off and didn't really want him". They are 10th in the SEC, as of today, on Rivals- Which results in "ratings don't matter, they are filling their needs". There, I saved you reading hundreds of columns. Oh, and if they lose KJ Hill- "We really didn't need another receiver or the #1 player in the State".

Saw a new one today regarding a highly rated recruit reportedly going to Auburn- "We stopped recruiting him a while back". Which, of course, really means "We realized we weren't getting him".
