Would've been nice to know about this before all of the sweeping, unprecedented regulations on guns were passed after Sandy Hook.

Oh, wait a minute.

It has always seemed apparent to me that Vince Foster committed suicide by shooting himself. The conspiracy theories around that tragedy could have been disposed of quickly and thoroughly if the authorities had ever been able to prove where Foster committed that act. But the authorities never were able to do that.

The murders took place, but there were multiple shooters, and at that, I am not convinced Adam Lanza was even one of them. The idea that Lanza, the lone wolf, all 140 pounds of him with autism, can pull something like this more efficiently than a trained Navy SEAL, just doesn't pass the smell test.

"Suicide" by firearm, like Foster, does not happen with the individual shooting himself in the head directly behind one of his ears. Carry On!

I thought most of the victims were even younger than that...

With Foster, the gunshot wound was through the mouth. I've never heard of any dissenting view from that.

Yep, the guy we all saw in camo from the heli-cam. At first the authorities tried to claim he was a parent volunteer who happened to run in the woods when the police confronted him. Turns out the parent volunteer they tried to blame that on was wearing khakis, not camo, but I believe they are sticking with that story.

Do you even attempt to research this stuff?

Quote:What about the man in the woods? Central to proving any conspiracy theory is finding co-conspirators, which in this case means multiple shooters. Theorists have seized on helicopter footage of a man getting chased by police through the woods behind the school as evidence there was more than one shooter. Who is this man?

Answer: It was Chris Manfredonia, the father of a 6-year-old who attends the school. He was on his way to the school to make gingerbread houses with first-graders when he heard gunfire and smelled sulfur, so he ran.

But there was another man in the woods (maybe) Eyewitnesses saw a second man in the woods wearing camouflage pants and a dark jacket, and said that he may have been armed. Must be a second shooter.

Answer: Actually, he was, according to the Newtown Bee, “an off-duty tactical squad police officer from another town” who heard the gunfire.

Your comprehensive answer to every Sandy Hook conspiracy theory

That doesn't even come close to making any sense as an explanation.

I try not to get too involved with this, but I've read some extremely interesting things on here. I'm on the outside/neutral side of this, but the first thing that caught my eye in your response is, all these people that ran off, you have a father of a 6 year old that was on his way, walking, to the school to build cookie houses, hears the shots, and runs off. Ok, first, if you hear gun shots anywhere near the vicinity of your child, the LAST thing you'll do is run away. So he's either lying or he's the biggest coward in America. Then the off-duty tactical officer. Why was he walking around and then run? It doesn't add up.

It feels like you comment is along the lines of "I am completely comfortable second-guessing the immediate reactions of someone having their life ripped apart around them! Why did he not do it the way I would have done it? I have found him deficient!" vs. understanding that everyone reacts differently to danger. Have a read of one of my favorite articles ever on the internet:

BTW, I am on your side on this along the lines that I would have made a beeline towards the school.

Almost nothing is the result of a conspiracy. Errors in judgment, greed, carelessness, foolishness, sloppy thinking, arrogance, not paying attention, fear, and absence of compassion may all be in evidence when events seem to spiral out of control, but very rarely is it a conspiracy.

It just seems like second nature, as a mother or father, to protect your kids first, yourself second. During those tornadoes in Oklahoma a couple years ago, parents were rushing towards the school to get their kids while a tornado was in route.

It just sounds, to me, like there are a lot of Little Red Riding Hoods out in Sandy Hook, with all those people that were strolling through the woods on their way to the school.

To totally ignore reality and facts and logic to let yourself believe that someone would kill a bunch of innocent kids and several innocent adults...for what exactly he still refuses to say so I presume to outlaw guns...to me, implies some pretty delusional thinking.

An investigative special, or a memorial type special about the victims?

If it's the latter, I'm guessing that it's just too soon when you're dealing with so many young kids.
Not necessarily about the kids, witnesses, other teacher who where there to tell their stories, I'm sure some parents would be interested in telling their story.

Just thinking out loud

I'm not buying the theory at all just making an observation
