All these hashtags being used is irrelevant if you're trying to get a point across. CJP won't be around much longer if attendance continues to wane - regardless of any comparisons to other coaches. We're in "Memphis". Not in the past with comparisons of the past. Not in Canada with meaningless stats at one's disposal. At the end of the day, a few concerned individuals above all others will say enough is enough.

Funny thing. The hashtag users are the ones complaining since I started using them a few weeks ago. As for the rest of what you said (irrelevant Canada reference aside), I would have to agree with you.

Bruce Weber took Southern Illinois to a Sweet 16. Had them in the NCAA's two straight years and set them up for success when he went to Illinois.

Went to a NC game at Illinois.

Dude is a helluva coach. His weakness was recruiting/connecting to inner city kids. But he tried to address that at Illinois (hiring Chicago league coaches for assistant spots).

Don't know what the beef is about his job at KSU. It is a second fiddle job to KU. Has gone to two consecutive NCAA's and is likely on pace for a third. Already beaten Ok State and Baylor this year. They have a pretty young team.

Crean? Don't even need to address that.

If, at the end of the year, Crean indicated he would like to coach at Memphis, would you take him and can Josh?
