Once you guys hit a certain donation amount, I think it would be cool to show the number of donations received.

Thats a terrific group of guys who agreed to play in the game. I wouldnt be surprised to see even more who want to participate, once the word gets out even better.

This is something I'm working on. Right now it's a little hard to keep up with the volume, but we're currently sitting at about $1880 pledged.

That's awesome! I obviously know and trust you guys, but it would be nice to link this to the Football Foundation once its non-profit status is secured. After we get the crowdsourced funds this way, we can then supplement with some big corporate cardboard checks.

That's the end game. A lot of people asked for an easy way to donate, and we're providing that. We'll be making a donation at the alumni game to the football foundation of everything we raise.

Ahhhhhh now I get the connection! Outstanding idea! I was having trouble connecting the dots. Once the paymaster gets back into town we'll sit down and figure out how much to donate.

Understandable. Even I had a hard time trying to figure out how to give to the foundation, so we figured we establish a quick, easy, reliable method to do so. I don't want to name names due to the sensitive nature of people's finances, but needless to say some big, dare I say household, names have made significant contributions. We're currently sitting at a little over $3k dollars raised, with several of those donations being reoccurring, monthly donations. Dan and I are both blown away by how quickly money has shown up when our fanbase is simply given an opportunity to give.
