Those individual pipes used to construct the fountain number 75 to represent each person who died in the crash. Pretty neat design.

When was that Marshall fountain built?

I remember it was briefly shown in the "We Are Marshall" movie, as if it was there in 1971. I'm surprised if it was built that soon.

It was dedicated on November 12th, 1972.
