RE: CAA at the Midway Point
The announcer said Tarpey is the only player in the CAA to average a double-double. He owned NU.

Advantage Terry.

Not only does your bias against NU just keeps getting bigger and bigger -- but your also continue to placate to the W&M fans, interesting.

Scott Eatherton doesn't make the first team but Terry Tarpey does? Highly unlikely, but hey, that's your wild opinion.

W&M played great and deserved to win, but this race is far from over and I like our chances in March.

LOL. Man. Those home losses are making someone a lil saaaaaaalty...

This is a midseason report, not a projection. FWIW Quincy Ford would have a spot on the all-defense team had I added that.

If you want NU to get more love you'll need to improve on that 0-2 record against the other current top 3 teams.

The announcer said so? Do you even know the name of the "announcer" who said it?
No you probably don't, but that's good enough for you I see.

Look forward to W&M coming to Boston.

Not looking for love, just trying to see when you took classes in Williamsburg because you seem to have the Tribe as your second favorite team ....

http://caasports.com/stats.aspx?path=mbb...&conf=true

Tarpey is leading the CAA (conference games only) in rebounding by about 3, and is the only player averaging 10+. He's also averaging 14.5 ppg in conference. So, statistics also say that he is the only player to average a double-double. But that was a nice dunk attempt by Eatherton at the end of the game. That should get him all-conference honors.

RE: CAA at the Midway Point
According to TITB's link, Tarpey is 1st in rebounds per game by 2.3, 1st in FG %, 2nd in steals, 2nd in assist to turnover ratio, 3rd in FT%, 4th in assists, tied for 4th in block shots per game, and 12 in scoring per game. Knew he was doing well. Didn't realize he was doing that strong.

Note that numbers are for conference games only.

Guys, guys. All we have to realize is that Northeastern sucks. I'm sure no one from NE should be first team. I think Eatherton is still rolling around on the floor at Kaplan

1. You clearly ARE looking for love.

2. UNCW beat Northeastern on their own court. Against William & Mary we suffered one of the worst comeback losses in NCAA history. And in their most recent game they beat NU. It should be pretty clear why the Tribe get the top spot.

John Thompson.

BTW, this isn't your first crybaby moment. I seem to recall you whining because some of us pointed out your basketball floor atop ice makes your court slick. You went off on one of our more experienced posters (sorry Billy, but you are) until we informed that he's forgotten more about CAA basketball than you'll ever learn.

You didn't come here leading up to the game and you didn't post here after the game until 08 hurt your feelings. As much messageboard abuse as you've taken over the years, you'd think you would have toughened up by now, Glass Joe.

Guess I wasn't wrong to give W&M so many accolades? Ah well. With 3 consecutive home games for NU and 3 consecutive road games for W&M, I foresee Geewiz showing up in these parts soon enough....

Geewiz is probably too busy screaming at the top of his lungs for his mommy to heat up his hot pocket. Too busy with his world of warcraft character to crawl up out of her basement and hit it up himself.
