you dont think they played well?

Super's theory is that when we win, the other team must really suck. It's never because we played well.

I mean, why should anyone be happy about a 36 point win after we got our asses kicked the last two games?

A crazy season so far. I would have thought the game would be more competitive than this. But hey if Murphy and the team can play with this type of energy and focus then there's hope yet we can get a top 4 seed.

We weren't as good as we thought prior to New Year's but we were aren't as bad as we've played in January. So what will February bring?

EMU and UofM are having parallel seasons.

Very good starts, then hit a rough patch and then UofM's turnaround.

We'll see if two home games is what our team needed to get its bearings and a turn around

http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketba...wolverines

The big difference is that UofM lost a key player, LaVert. We picked up a key player, Bond.

Also, remember what Chad said last night about WMU: They won 11 of their last 12 last year.

It isn't about who is hot in January but who gets hot the last month of the season. This year's MAC really will go to the team who gets hot late in the season. No one seems to have any idea as to whom it will be.

All of the talk on the main MAC board is the parity and unpredictability of this year in the MAC.

When you only say stuff after the fact, of course you're nearly always right. I'd say you're just trolling, but you go to every damn game, so I really don't know what's wrong with you. You gotta be a special kind of bored to keep watching a team that's as awful as you say in person.

I want them win ever game. I go in hopes they prove me wrong. I never state anything after the fact you just neglect to read all my posts. The only facts i state after are those that show proof how wrong YOU are.i already stated how this season would go and so far ive been proven wrong . I stated i thought they had a good chance of winning the mac, so far not so good.

Anyone want to talk about Bond's three dunks? Or KWard's 'attempted facial' vs. Willis (who wisely got out of the way)?

Bond can seriously throw down. Looking forward to the highlight reels to come from that kid.

How about those solid first half minutes from Trent Perry? Nobody has more heart in the game on this squad than Trent. Awesome to see him knock down from three.

I'm all for giving Trent Perry more minutes. Need a floor spacer, and he plays hard on defense. Plus he's 6'4...decent size at the top of the zone. If he plays more and does his job, I could see him being an Anthony Strickland and getting a scholarship next year.

Never the devil just a waste of energy and the one bond did in the last 2 minutes just plain dumb. totally Uncalled for and very poor sportsmanship.

Well we should probably starting discussing WMU, they've been up and down this year and had some tough overtime games. Still they come into EMU with a better conference record. Generally since Murphy became coach we've split with WMU during the regular season. This is one team I love to beat.

I watched them a few times OOC. Not as good as they were last year (obviously Whittington is very tough to replace), but still some very capable scorers. Dave Brown is a better version of Raven, Tucker Haymond seems to be much improved from last year, and Connar Tava does everything. We've done very well to neutralize Tava in the past, but the guards scare me. I know Richie has been battling an injury. Not sure if he'll play Saturday or not.

I always love it when we bet WMU! Almost as much as Toledo but not as much as CMU.

a lot of teams have been beating the zone by hitting the bigs on the baseline. hopefully we can intimidate their young bigs. that will be key. take that away and Western will have to rely on 3s and Tava flashing through the paint.
