I know this was considered some kind of football rivalry not too long ago (clearly that's over). Maybe a little bit of a WBB rivalry a few years back when they were the Fightin EDDs. That aside, NO ONE makes a point to attend games vs. Delaware any more than your typical College of Charleston or UNCW game. Not ragging on you, KickItToScotty, so much as saying we HAVE to stop saying UD is some kind of rival to us. It's demeaning to real rivalries everywhere. No one cares when we play UD any more.

RE: The Current State of JMU MBB
Went to redo my Auto Charge donation... Instead I just did the first month, that will still give me parking, not much difference between A and B and tickets if I so decide, and keep my consecutive years I rarely use the hospitality passes because I am always running late as it is.... Ill hold the rest to see how our Athletic Department Acts. If not, my best friend is a tennis coach at a small college... Ill give the balance of the money to them... at least then I know it wont be squandered on an unnecessary coaching search and contract buyout. I feel bad but the news I keep getting is ridiculous. maybe I am just following the conspiracy theory. Ill just have to make bigger payments April-On if I decide to keep the same level..........
Very disheartened and depressed about this decision. But I just couldn't click the button with that $ figure with the news I am hearing.

Oh yeah, I agree... I probably should've worded it a little differently. I was just saying that's the next closest thing we have to a rivalry in conference after W&M. I'd consider it a small notch above Drexel, NU, Towson, etc... That isn't saying much though, doesn't come close to W&M. Then W&M doesn't come close to VCU, ODU, GMCC.
People would show up for Mason and VCU regardless of records or anything else. It would always be intense and always remind me why I kind of don't want a new Convo. They'd usually show up pretty well for ODU but not like those two, at least recently. No one we have left is going to get the crowds those teams got. But hey, at least we probably don't have to worry about getting T'd up for someone throwing a hot dog.
