I guess you didn't read the above posts but whatever.

Honestly I did not see UC playing any more physical yesterday than most other AAC teams. You had a couple of plays stand out (the clothesline) and where the UCF player went down after a layup (and the foul was called on UC).

It's college basketball. It's going to be physical.

Get that nonsense talk out of here. The only UCF player who was injured (hope his concussion dissipates promptly) during the game was knocked out by his own teammate. I suppose that's our teams fault as well...

Dude again you weren't at the game. You weren't watching the jawing or body language. #25 was mad at the half because Kasey Wilson knocked the ball out of his hands after the half ended. They were playing intentionally over agressive. Fwiw I have watched and continue to watch uc bball because of my familial connections. I haven't dogged uc before either and it's not sour grapes. We wilted down the stretch. Part of it is guys are playing 40 min. I had a hs bball coach beside me that is not affiliated with Ucf say the same thing. #uc fan

Fwiw I didn't think they were trying to injure people but they played overly aggressive and it wasn't being called

It's called Big East basketball, son!! Get used to it!!

I haven't seen usf or uconn play that way

It's Cincinnati basketball, let's drop the old big east crap. It died a long time ago.

Drop the 'tude, and tell me what I should call the physical type of basketball that was the Big East? Don't feed me the "Cincinnati basketball" crap, because you may have forgotten this, but UCONN is still in your conference.

How about we call it what it is AAC basketball. I don't know about UConn but Cincy played the same style b-ball in C-USA.

Exactly, it is AAC basketball now.

Memphis no longer plays CUSA basketball, the Bearcats no longer play BE basketball, Temple no longer plays MAC football, etc, etc. We all have histories and legacies. While some may be happy and some disappointed; we're all AAC members playing AAC basketball and football now.

So that covers the last year and a half. What do you propose we call the previous 7 years? Because it sure as h*ll wasn't "AAC Basketball".

Good, I'm glad we agree 100%. You can feel comfortable about living in the present and not the past.

Here is the game that's being discussed and it was played 2015.

Cincinnati vs UCF
01/25/15 2 p.m. at Orlando, Fla. (CFE Arena)

RE: 1/25 AAC Games
Don't get this branding BS. Temple, for example, still plays in the Big 5, an inter-city Philadelphia brand of basketball that gets physical at times. Typically the kids Temple has playing for them are of a physical nature, as has always been the case.

So why is Cincinnati any different? They've always been physical and I suspect they always will be. Quite frankly, highly competitive inter-city kids always play physical.

I can't speak for kids playing for Tulsa, ECU, or other AAC teams, because I'm not familiar historically with the kids they recruit.

That was bs play. It's one thing to play defense and it's quite another to act like you are playing wwe. My whole family lives in cincy and my cousin works with these guys in the athletic department and I sorry but I am ashamed of some of the bs they pulled today. If we lose we lose but that bs is uncalled for

I feel this conference can be something special in basketball and football, baseball to. If big east b-ball is what your looking for those games I watched the other night wasn't far from it. The AAC is creating its own brand and I like what I see so far. Like it or not that's my take on it. Go AAC!!!
