Georgia State is a 2 man team...Now they are two very super talented players who will both be in the NBA very soon...but otherwise, it's your typical Decent SBC team.

In terms of talent from the top to the bottom of the roster, the Cajuns have it.

Lol. Take the two best players off any team and see where they stand. The crazy part is that our best player isn't even playing this year. Jeremy Hollowell, transferred from Indiana, and is a machine. He is the best player on GSU. Wait til next year when he takes the court.

Must be related to Tony Mitchell.

Hollowell is the love child between Tony Mitchell and Brittney Griner. I heard he was going to go straight to the NBA, but decided Georgia State would be a better choice for a little more practice.

the cajuns may be the more steady eddie type team with good players through out. ga state has the flash when everything is clicking tho. But at tournament time against the next level of teams their hot shooters will be guarded by better players. they killed us the other night with those two guys scoring 46 pts.

kind of early in the season for that kind of talk isn't it?

It's not so much a statement about us looking forward to next year as much as to say this current success we're having at basketball isn't just a phase. Next year and the year after, it'll continue. We have the right players right now and we'll have even more talent come online next season.

Unless your coach leaves for greener pastures. In your new AD's previous stent at App, there were 3 seasons over his 10 years there that produced 18+ wins. He might not bring in a coach that can get it done, then you find yourself in rebuild mode.

Unfortunately we haven't made the tournament with him yet. I don't think we're in danger unless he starts running through the tournament.
